I reached deep into the memory banks for picking this scene's color palette. Late night driving home from a long trip, lying in the back seat of my parents' car, looking up out of the window at the moon behind the dark trees rushing by. Everything would be shades of dark blue, pale moonlight, or the yellow of car lights.
